vCR(a)Pc exists to actively promote, explore, and display creative art which utilizes, portrays or personifies crap.
Submissions are open to all artists working in any media, 18 years of age or older. All forms of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography,
graphics, digital and installation art are eligible, including video art. Works do not have to be for sale. All
submissions must be the original work of the applicant, completed without the aid of an instructor. Artwork may not be a copy of another artist's
work or a copy of a photograph taken by someone else. Painting/drawing in the Plein Aire genre or from photograph are both eligible.
We encourage artists to submit photos** of their works for juried review*** and possible posting on the
vCR(a)Pc website.
Sending your images to vCR(a)Pc, doesn't affect your copyright. You can sell or publish your photos anywhere. vCR(a)Pc is a web publisher.
Once the photo is submitted to vCR(a)Pc, it's considered having been published with the permission of the author. Normally publications cannot
be undone. Surely nobody would claim such action from any magazine.
** photos/videos for submission consideration should be e-mailed to submissions@vtcrapart.com. Images Can be black and white or color, and should be in .jpg or .gif format and sized at 550 pixels on the largest side.Videos must be submitted via a YouTube link. Please include your name, e-mail address, and a brief description of your work. vCR(a)Pc reserves the right to resize any submission to meet posting requirements.
*** Juried review will be conducted by a panel of experienced and anonymous farmers and artists who have spend decades looking at crap art.
Any and all decisions of the jury will be final. Creators of selected works will be notified by e-mail.
